Ariele D’Ambrosio, a writer and a pmysician, a poet and a performer is born in Florence in 1953.
He lives in Naples where me works at “Ospedale Cardarelli” the biggest and the most important Hospital in southern Italy.
He began His personal research about verbal sounds in poetry with his work “oltre la Parola dentro la Memoria”. In december 2004 as an author of “secondary oral poetry” he attended the meeting of “Poetry and Orality – words and songs in mediterranean tradition” for Naples University “Orientale” and for “Literature – Art department” of Salerno University.
Many of his poetry books became important performances in se veral Italian theatres. From his collaboration with the jazz – polynstrumentist Sandro Cerino we must rimember, one among many, “TESTA agli afforcati ai ghigliottinati ai decollati” performed at Villa Campolieto during the celebrations of “neapolitan revolution 1799 – 1999”.
In the meaning of restoring the glorious tradition of literary coffee-houses in 1984 he was at “Gran Caffé Gambrinus” in Naples and in 1992 at “Gran Caffé Giubbe Rosse” in Florence. |
